A Reverse Vending Machine has been installed in Iceland’s head office reception area, to encourage colleagues to bring Iceland plastic bottles into the office for recycling and rewarding them with a 10p per bottle voucher for use in local stores, or giving them the option of donating the same amount to our Charitable Foundation.
The idea was suggested through Deeside Voice, the forum for colleague nominated representatives at head office, to demonstrate the technology, and help colleagues and visitors recycle.
