Iceland colleagues across Hull and the East Riding of Yorkshire were delighted to hand over a donation of almost 900 Easter eggs to local charity, Bundles of Joy. Organised by Iceland Area Manager Darren Austin and Area Talking Shop Rep Louise Wardell, 891 Easter eggs were donated and collected by Iceland colleagues and customers in a single week in the lead up to the Easter break.
“We were overwhelmed by the response from our colleagues and customers. It brought a tear to my eye when we dropped the Easter eggs off because the charity was so chuffed with our donation,” commented Louise. “In this area, we have a lot of hard-up customers so we wanted to do something to support vulnerable families locally.”
Bundles of Joy is a charity based in Beverley that has been set up to support babies, children and their families throughout Hull and the East Riding.
